Caring greatly about the quality and condition of the puppets in the puppethire.com collection James and David have been able to restore some of the finest examples of the puppet maker's art back to their original condition.

Punch and Judy puppets are working tools, and in a knock about show can easily become damaged, and whilst the scars of battle are fine, missing noses are not.

We have worked on puppets by Quisto, Wal Kent, Fred Tickner, Bryan Clarke, The DaSilva Company, Cannon Hill and many more, working to the maker's original style, and where possible using period fabrics and trimmings.

Puppets can be repainted, recostumed, have missing limbs, noses, chins or hands replaced or even be given a total overhaul.
